ADS1 lands on Noizion Recordz not without experience. The producer has already cut his teeth in the duo BNDT72 with a remarkable hybrid footwork EP released by our colleagues at Beat Machine Records. For this first solo opus, the artist slowed down the tempo without dropping a bit in intensity. It starts very strong with Genghis, a powerful track including the Asian flute which overcomes the purring of the bass. Opio has an incisive beat that cuts through vocal samples in a dynamic that will undoubtedly make heads move. Finally, on Voodoo Thingz, he returns to the origins of dubstep with the ingredients that hit the mark: huge bassline, skanks, mystical atmosphere and an impressive drum groove.
